Robert "Bob" J. Peters, age 63, of Forked River, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. Born in Belleville, NJ, Bob grew up in and was a lifelong resident of Forked River. He worked as a plumber for Chappelle Mechanical Inc. for many years. Bob truly loved his job and all of the people he worked with. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, Dorothy and Robert M. Peters, and his other "dad," Roy Brokaw. He is survived by daughter Chelsea Miyashiro and her husband, Tyler; son, Sean Peters; twin sister Robin Sabata and her husband, Wayne; brother Stephen Resz; and sister Lorraine Brooks and her husband, Phill.
