Manchester - Patricia Ann Piscitelli, born January 4, 1942, passed away on Sunday at home surrounded with her family by her side. She was the only daughter of Frank and Marie Micharoni. Patricia was born and raised in Staten Island, NY and was a proud Native Staten Islander. She graduated Curtis High School in 1959, raised in Stapleton, moved to West Brighton, and later Great Kills. She began her career as a secretary in lower Manhattan. She married Joseph Piscitelli also of S.I. She stopped working to start a family. She was a member of the Great Kills Women Club. After her daughters were grown she worked as an Assistant Preschool Teacher on S.I., and later in retail after moving to NJ. She moved to Jackson, NJ and later Leisure Village West, Manchester, NJ. She was a member of the Welcome Committee, Aquasizers and volunteered along with her husband at the Village Greenhouse several days a week. She enjoyed trips out west to National Parks, Atlantic City, Lancaster Co. PA, dining out, shopping and decorating her home. She enjoyed movies, various bands, sports and art shows of her grandchildren and was an avid fiction reader in her spare time. Above all she was most proud of her grandchildren and their accomplishments. She was a selfless and devoted mother and grandmother above all else! She was loved unconditionally by her husband, Joseph, of 56 years, her daughters, Lori and husband, Michael Moriarty, of South Brunswick, NJ, Jodi Pellicano and her husband, Leonard, of Manchester, NJ, and grandchildren, Shannon, Michael, Brienna and Nicholas.
Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Rd, Manchester, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday 10 am at St. John's R.C. Church, Lakehurst, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cancer Institute of New Jersey.
