Michael J. Stein

Michael J. Stein, 69, of Manchester Township, passed away on Sunday, April 13th, 2025, in Toms River Township. Michael was born on April 8th, 1956, in Richmond, Virginia, to parents Henry and Patricia (nee Tremper) Stein. He grew up on Roselle, NJ and attended Roselle High School. After graduation, he joined the United States Army, stationed in Fort Hood, Texas. Michael achieved the status of sharpshooter. After leaving the Army, Michael met his wife, Beth, while playing bingo in Howell Township. They married, moved to Manchester Township and had two children, Elygh and Emily. Michael spent many years working as a sales agent in advertising for Profit Marketing in Toms River, NJ.

Outside of work, he enjoyed playing bingo, golf, bowling, shooting, and attending music festivals. Michael also enjoyed sport's; always rooting for his favorite teams, the New York Yankees, Jets, and Rangers. His most precious moments, however, were times spent with his grandchildren, play wrestling and joking around. He will truly be missed by those who knew and loved him.

Michael is survived by his wife of 30 years, Beth Stein, his son, Elygh Stein, and his daughter, Emily Stein and her fiancé, Shawn and also his grandchildren, Kayla and Alyssa Pentifallo and Ireland and Elygh Stein.

There will be a visitation for Michael on Monday, April 21st, 2025, from 4pm to 8pm at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Rd., Manchester, NJ. Burial with military honors will take place on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025, at the Brigadier General, William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, 750 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ.
