Marianne Ferrara

Marianne Ferrara, 70, of Manchester, NJ, passed away July 31, 2012, at Community Medical Center, Lakewood, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Jackson for many years before moving to Manchester 11 years ago. Marianne worked as a waitress at the Apollo Diner in Farmingdale for 23 years and the Princess Maria for the past 11 years. She enjoyed Atlantic City, crabbing, her customers and especially her family.

Marianne is survived by her husband Anthony Ferrara, her daughter Catherine Ann Prendimano, her sons Michael Lopez and Fred Lopez, her nine grandchildren Justine, Robert, Anthony, Gina, Rachel, Taylor, Michael, Danny and Amber, her two sisters, Frances Cimino and Catherine Hansen, and her brother Giro Borgia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday August 3, 2012 at the D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Family and friends are invited to the funeral home on Saturday August 4, 2012, at 9 am with a Mass of Christian Burial to be offered at 10:30 am at Saint Mary of the Lake Church. Interment to follow at Saint Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood, NJ.
