Margaret A. Freeman

Margaret (Peggie) A. Freeman, 84, of Manchester, NJ passed away Tuesday July 16, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born In Wilkes Barre, PA, Peggy had lived in Rutherford before moving to Manchester 15 years ago. Peggy was the owner and operator of two successful businesses, The Pompenette Beauty Salon in Kearny, NJ and Ollerman’s Deli in Ridgefield Park. After selling her businesses Peggie went on to work as a School Bus Driver for the Rutherford Board of Education.

Peggie is survived by her loving partner of 57 years and a host of loving family and friends and will be terribly missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday July 19, 2019 from 8 am -10:15 am at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Rd., Manchester, NJ 08759. A Mass in Peggy’s honor will be celebrated Friday at 11 am at St. John’s RC Church, 619 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst, NJ 08733 and cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers please donate to: St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital in Margaret Freeman’s name.
