Jose Angel Fuentes

Jose “Joe” Angel Fuentes, age 81, of Lakewood, NJ, passed away on December 5, 2024 surrounded by his family. Joe was born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico, on October 13, 1943, and was predeceased by his parents, his brother Francisco, and his wife, Nicole.

Joe moved to New Jersey as a child and eventually settled in Lakewood, NJ, for most of his life, where he raised his family. Joe was known as a very skilled barber for 50+ years. He was very active and enjoyed boating, riding his motorcycle, music, and spending time with his family. He was the beloved ‘Pop’ to many!

Joe is survived by his four children, Terrie, Missy, Gena, and Joseph, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and three siblings, Carmen, Hector, and Willy.

Joe is dearly missed and fondly remembered.

A visitation for family and friends for Jose will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. A funeral service will take place from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Entombment will immediately follow at Saint Mary of the Lake Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Dr, Lakewood, NJ 08701. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in memory of Jose to St. Jude Children's Hospital. (Stjude.org/memorial).
