John Lawrence Peachey, 84, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Arista Care, Manchester, NJ. Born in Chicago, IL, John (Jack) grew up in New York, NY before living in Manalapan for over 20 years, then South Carolina for 23 years and finally in Manchester for the past 5. He and his wife lived in Leisure Village West. Jack was a bird watcher, environmentalist, and lifelong Chicago White Sox and Arizona Cardinals fan. He loved spending time with his family and traveling to see his nieces and nephews. He was a NYC school teacher for over 30 years prior to retiring.
John was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Carolyne, only 6 days prior. They are together, as they would have wanted. He is survived by his son, John Peachey and his wife Beverly, his daughter Jeanmarie Peachey and his loving grandchildren, Kyle, Alexis and Jack. A celebration of John and Carolyne’s life will be held at a later date.
