John Mizsak, age 89, resident of Manchester, formerly of North Brunswick passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023. He was born January 19, 1934 in Nyircsaholy, Hungary. John left Hungary in January 1957 at the end of the Hungarian Revolution. He then lived in Austria for two years before coming to the United States. He met and married his wife, Irene in 1962. John worked for Ford Motor Company in Edison NJ for 38 years. He was a blacksmith by trade. John loved to travel, garden, the ocean, and to swim. Once he moved to the Renaissance community he used the pool there almost everyday to swim 45 minutes.
John leaves behind his wife Irene of 60 years, daughter Kathy McCaughey and husband Wayne of Normandy Shores, son John and his wife Jolene of Pennington; three grandchildren, Stephanie Pattison of Perth, Australia, Britni Stevenson of South Carolina and Micaela Mizsak Cliffwood Beach; four Great grandchildren, Jack, Tyler, Blake, and Reagan; Brother Laszlo Mizsak of Princeton and sister Kati of Hungary and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation was held privately. A visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, March 11th, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ, 08759. A funeral service will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in memory of John to the American Heart Association.
