Jean Schneider

Jean Schneider, 85, passed away at her home Wednesday, November 20, 2013. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Old Bridge, NJ most of her life before moving to Manchester, NJ 15 years ago. She worked for New York Telephone Company and later was employed by Macy, East Brunswick.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Ernest Schneider of 56 years, and her two daughters and a son-in-law, Lorraine Schneider of Belmar, NJ and Barbara and Thomas Janowski of New Egypt, NJ, and her two beloved grandchildren Jeffrey and Kevin Janowski. Also surviving are sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and John Toohey of Red Bank, NJ and Anne and Walter Wolejsza of Lincroft, NJ, and brother-in-law Edward Michonski of Long Valley, NJ and sister-in-law Rita Golinski of Middletown, NJ, and sister-in-law Estelle Meehan of West Babylon, NY, and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her mother Victoria Golinski, her sister Theresa Michonski and her brother-in-law John Golinski.

Visitation will be held at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759 on Friday, November 22, 2013 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 9am at St. John's Roman Catholic Church, 619 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst, NJ. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Jamesburg, NJ.
