George H. Kowalewski, age 70, of Manchester Township, New Jersey passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023. George was born in Newark, New Jersey, and lived in Atlantic Highlands for many years before moving to Whiting four years ago. He worked for Ocean Aire at RJ Miller for 20 years. He was a member of the Pine Barren Modelers, the Ocean County Modelers and the Jersey Coast Sport Flyers. George loved RC airplanes and enjoyed trains, planes and cars with anything to do with hydraulics. He attended many Air Shows in Atlantic City and spent time on Sandy Hook. George loved spending time with his family and friends and will be missed by many.
George was predeceased by his mother, Lois Ann Kowalewski. He is survived by his father Stanley Kowalewski, his fiancé Sharon Margeotes, his daughters; Candice Kowalewski and her husband James Manion and Hollie Myers and her husband Greg, his sister; Janet Mehalick and his 3 grandchildren with one on its way.
A viewing for George will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 3 to 7 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759, followed by a family and friends to speak at 6 PM.
