George J. Elgar, age 72, of Manchester Township, New Jersey passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024.
Born in Clifton, he resided in Wallington for mst of his life before settling in Manchester in 2011.
Prior to retiring, he was a pharmaceutical researcher and worked for Hoffman LaRoache and Johnson & Johnson. George was also a longtime member of the Timberline Outdoorsmen and was an avid traveler, having been to all seven continents. He enjoyed cars and racing, especially Nascar. George was also quite interested in anything having to do with aerospace and science.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 9AM-12PM at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ. A private cremation will follow.
