Erich Hartmann, 85, of Manchester, NJ, passed away on Thursday October 4, 2012, at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. Born in Nuernberg Germany, Erich resided in Hillsdale, NJ, from 1973 until 1999, when he and Heidi moved to Manchester, NJ.
Erich received an Honorary Doctorate in Social and Economical Sciences from the German Embassy. He worked as a manager for many international businesses.
Erich is survived by his wife Adelheid “Heidi” (nee Tipri), a daughter Inge, grandson Kirsten and great grandson Robin, all in Germany, daughter Christine and her husband Paul, granddaughter Gabriella, and son Richard and his friend Marianne.
