My beautiful Aunt Celia, 
I am heartbroken,  It’s hard to believe that I can not speak to you  ever again. It was unfortunate that I had to move out of state, butI do have 70 yrs of many memories, especially my very young days going to Coney Island beach with you.  You always made sure you had my pail and shovel and you would always buy me pink candied popcorn. I enjoyed our times together always.
You meant so much to me. Thank you for helping my Mom and family.
I pray that you rest peacefully. Now that your with Uncle Sam, Sammy and all the rest of the family you missed so much. We will always think of you. Until we meet again.

You were my first teacher. You taught me how to be loving, caring, gentle, patient, and respectful, and the importance of family. Growing up you kept an impeccable home, and made sure Sammy and I did our homework and finished everything on our plates, If we didn’t I remember you kissing up the food to god because back then it was considered wasteful.
You always looked forward to the Holidays and taught me the valuable meaning of sharing them with the family. I remember you  cooking and baking with the gold kitchen appliances in the 70’s kitchen in Staten Island.
I remember you baking my favorite nestle toll house cookies and being on the phone with your sister Martha, Aunt Colette and my Godmother  Rosemarie talking about the menu and plans for the holiday. 
I remember you missing your parents for every occasion and will now  feel that way.
I remember you always giving Sammy more cookies than me because you were always watching out for my figure ( since I had no control when it came to eating them)I wasn’t happy about it at the time but I understand why now. You provided a home were I felt safe and secure. You were a loving grandmother and always wanted to make sure Samantha,
Tommy and Lizzy got their presents for every occasion. 
I remember how you talked fondly about your son in law when he fixed items in the home for you.
I remember how You loved my dogs as long as you didn’t have to care for them. 
It was an honor to care for you when you were sick and give you the dignity and respect you deserved. 
I remember your nurse Vivian caring for you with much love and compassion, fulfilling all your needs and you would call her “mommy”
I’m so grateful I was able to spend that time with you.
I will always have you in my heart. I m grateful that I was able to tell you I love
You all the time and you responded I love you too.
I find comfort in knowing that you are back together again with your parents, relatives, friends, daddy, and Sam

I loved going over to my grandmas house being able to talk about Atlantic City and what color she wanted me to paint her nails  and watching Wheel of Fortune with her ever since I was little.  We have so many memories together that I will cherish forever. She is no longer suffering and she’s finally at peace with my grandfather and uncle 💗I miss her so much already but I know she’ll be watching over me💗
