Carol A. Gruenling

Carol A. Gruenling, age 78, of Manchester, New Jersey passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022. Carol was born June 12, 1944 in Newark, New Jersey, and lived in Forked River Beach until she moved to the Leisure Knoll community 21 years ago. Carol had worked as a speech pathologist at Manchester Manor, Manchester, NJ. She was a parishioner of St. John's RC Church in Lakehurst, NJ.

Carol was predeceased by her parents, Ruth and Edwin H. Gruenling, Sr. She is survived by her brother Edwin H. Gruenling, Jr., her nieces and nephew; Barbara Wells and her husband Jesse, Karen Schaaf and her husband Eric and Edwin H. Gruenling, III, and her great nieces and nephews; Samantha Schaaf, Adam Schaaf, Sydney Wells, Edwin H. Gruenling IV, Emmalyn Gruenling, Elayna Gruenling and Ezekiel Gruenling.

A visitation for Carol will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 2 to 5 pm at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. A Mass of Christian burial will occur Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 10 to 10:45 am at St. John's RC Church, 619 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst, NJ 08733. Interment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Carol's memory may be made to Saint Luke Prayer Shawl Ministry.
