He was born on September 2, 1960 to Rose & Joseph Keane of Manchester, NH. He graduated from Central High School in Manchester, NH. A lifelong resident of New Hampshire, he most recently lived in Allenstown, NH. Tommy was a lifelong Union carpenter and was a vocal advocate for carpenter's safety and rights. He retired from the Carpenters Union in 2022. He served as President, Vice President and Steward.
An avid hunter in his youth, he had an extensive gun collection and was always willing to talk about his hunting adventures with his dad. He was also known to be a jokester. Relishing little pranks he would play on his friends, coworkers and family. He loved photography and geocaching, and happily combined the two hobbies. He had many caches in scenic locations around the state. Tommy was happiest when riding his motorcycle. A lifelong rider, he rode every chance he got. His favorite trips were around Lake Winnipesaukee and through the White Mountain National Forest.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Keane. They were together for 29 adventure-filled years. His two daughters, Tonya Peterson of Ocoee, FL, and Tara Keane of Strafford, NH. He has 5 grandchildren; Keagan, Declan, Bella, Liam, and Tovi.
Per Tom's wishes, there are no formal funeral services planned. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the care of McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover St. Manchester, NH. His ashes will be scattered at a future date.
