Susan E. Barry

Susan E. Barry, 62, of Upton, MA died January 25, 20011 at Faulkner Hospital in Boston, MA after a period of declining health. She was born in Manchester on June 21, 1948, a daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Vaughan) Barry.

Raised in Manchester, she was a graduate of Immaculata High School in 1966. She was a graduate of Peter Bent Brigham Hospital School of Nursing and received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Boston University. A resident of Massachusetts since entering nursing school, she has always been employed as a registered nurse in the healthcare field.

Family members include two sisters, Sheila Barry of Hooksett and Kathleen Newell of Goffstown; and a niece, Debra Todd of Deerfield.

There are no calling hours. A Memorial Mass was celebrated at 10:30 AM on Monday, January 31st in St. Catherine Church, corner of Webster and Hemlock Sts. Urn burial will be held in the spring in Old St. Joseph Cemetery, Manchester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
