Ryan D. Provencher, 30, of Manchester, died January 24, 2015 at his home. He was born in Manchester on June 8, 1984 the first son of Daniel and Vicky (Palmer) Provencher and was a lifelong resident of the Queen City. He was educated in the local school system and was a graduate of Manchester Central High School Class of 2002. He also studied at UNH working toward his degree in civil engineering and was a member of the Fraternal Organization, Phi Kappa Theta.
Ryan loved the outdoors and sports. He grew up playing Little League baseball in the Manchester Little League system and loved to golf. He also enjoyed his quiet time reading. Ryan had a contagious smile and was always making everyone around him laugh. Family was special to him and he will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew and friend.
Members of his family in addition to his parents include his two brothers Collin Provencher and Nathan Provencher, his sister Britney Provencher, his maternal grandparents George and Pauline Palmer, his paternal grandparents Leonard and Lucille Provencher, his two nieces Estelle Provencher and Scarlet Provencher and his nephew Greyson Provencher all of Manchester as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday January 30 from 5 to 8 pm at the McHugh Funeral Home 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St. in Manchester. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Ryan’s name be made to the Farnum Center 140 Queen City Ave., Manchester, NH 03103 or to New Horizons Soup Kitchen 199 Manchester St., Manchester, NH 03104.
