Phyllis A. Sweet, 66, of Manchester, died December 12, 2012 at the Catholic Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in Manchester on November 15, 1946 the daughter of Leo and Virginia (Stewart) Cloutier and was a lifelong resident of the Queen City and was educated in the local school system.
She was employed as an administrative assistant at Merrill-Lynch with over 31 years of service.
Phyllis enjoyed her quiet time at home reading a good book and never missed an episode of her favorite soap operas. She cherished her family and friends, especially her two grandchildren who were the loves of her life and will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.
Members of her family include her son Jason Sweet and his wife Catherine, her two grandchildren Bruno Sweet and Roxy Sweet all of Manchester, her three brothers Philip Cloutier and his wife Mary of Hooksett, Steven Cloutier and his wife Diane of Weare and Edward Cloutier and his wife Jackie of Manchester, her sister Jeanine Demers and her husband Roger of Ocala, FL as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday December 15 from 5 to 6PM at the McHugh Funeral Home 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St. in Manchester followed by a Memorial Service in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Phyllis’ name to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA. 01701.
