Over her many years, she was a head bank teller, a public and school librarian, and a longtime supervisor of the Checklist in Hooksett, NH. Everything she did, she did well, and nowhere was that more evident than in the raising of her two children, Marylynne Chavanelle and Skip Campbell. Along with George, her beloved husband, she was an educator and a protector. She and George were married forty-three years until George’s death in 2000.
Mary had a wonderful group of friends, with a regular lunch date – and along with her extended family, they sustained her in the years after George departed.
In addition to her children, Mary leaves her grandchildren Bill, Ryan, Luke, and Ella. She also leaves many wonderful nieces, nephews and cousins across eastern Massachusetts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boston Children’s Hospital.
Calling hours for Mary will be held Friday, December 9, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at McHugh Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 283 Hanover St, Manchester, New Hampshire 03104, with a funeral service at 6:30pm.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.McHughFuneralHome.com for the Campbell family.
