Lorraine Margaret Roberge

Lorraine was born on March 22nd, 1938, to the late Myra and Wilfred Heroux in Manchester, NH. As an only child, Lorraine enjoyed exploring her neighborhood, including Crystal Lake and Camp Carpenter, with friends by her side. She completed her education in the Manchester school district.

On June 1st, 1957, Lorraine married her late husband, Roger L. Roberge. Lorraine and Roger went on to have three sons; Roger, David and Daniel. After raising their children in Manchester for a period of time, the Roberge family moved to Bedford, NH in 1978. Lorraine was well known in the neighborhood for her meticulous yard work and gardening. She could also be found searching through yard sales for new treasures to decorate her home with.

Later in her years, Lorraine opened her home to families as a full-time daycare. Lorraine was known for taking care of children as if they were her own. She enjoyed sharing her love for arts and crafts through different activities, such as painting and drawing, and passing on her gardening secrets. Lorraine made meaningful connections with each child she cared for.

Lorraine will be remembered as a devoted wife, and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be remembered for her collection of unique yard-sale treasures; her ability to nurture and grow something from the ground-up; and her unconditional love.

Lorraine is predeceased by her parents Myra and Wilfred Heroux; her husband Roger L. Roberge; and her eldest son, Roger W. Roberge. She is survived by her sons David and Daniel; daughter-in-laws Mary and Cheryl; grandchildren Shane, Rachel, Ashley, Haley and Shannon; great-grandchildren Isaiah and Rhys; and extended family members.

Calling hours will be held at McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover St, Manchester, NH 03104 on Saturday, November 26, 2022. Hours will be from 9am to 12:00pm followed by a procession to St Joseph’s Cemetery in Bedford, NH 03110.
