i am so very sorry to learn of Linda,s passing. Linda, Claude and all the Vachons were so kind and generous to my family, Ed, Peter and me during a difficult time for us.  

Linda  was always there for Peter's  baby doctors visits and   Claude helped Ed is many ways   until we got on our feet.  

I will always be thankful to Linda and the wonderful warm memories I have of her.

Hello to all, especially the Vachon family.  I have met Linda just a few times, maybe three or four.  However I have met her kids many more times, specifically her oldest daughter Michele.

Michele and her late husband Lee are the God-Parents to my younger son.  What I do know about Michele and her siblings are, they are the kindest and one of the most loving family I have met.  Their warmth and heart felt  gratitude are always present every time we meet.  These attributes were not born as a stand alone offset from Michele and her sibling.  These attributes were instilled in them by their parents, especially I believe by their mom.  Why, because as we all know, our mom, Michele and her siblings mom, Linda, is normally the primary parent present at home taking care of the kids.  Linda's love and care of family, in so many ways have affected not only her own kids, but also the other lives these kids have touch, like myself and my two sons.

I truly want to convey, from the depths of my heart,  my condolences to the entire Vachon family.  Your mom will always be present in your lives, in your kids lives, and for so many generations to come.  God's continued blessings on each of you.

What a wonderful Aunt she was . She raised her children up to be incredible people. I used to babysit Michelle, Lisa , Kathy and Mary. I got to see them today and what a wonderful  family they all are . We reminisced about those times . We laughed and cried.  To see them all together warmed my heart . Such a fun family. I wish we still lived closer but at least we  can be in contact on Facebook . There were incredible stories about Aunt Linda and when Michelle had us all sing Country Road by John Denver it brought tears to us all. She will be greatly missed .  Love you Aunt Linda!  God has a beautiful angel watching over us 🙏❤️

Kathy and family. So very sorry for your loss. May you take comfort in the  wonderful memories you have of your mother.

Although not having seen Linda for literally decades, she stands out in my memories of my childhood on Granite Street.  Linda and her buddy Beverly Walker would gleefully join me in tossing snowballs (I still have a couple of photos of that).  Although a few years older than me, Linda would come over to our place to "play", but I think most commonly to attend chocolate chip cookie baking lessons that my grandmother would be giving me <grin>.  Always happy, with nice things to say, giving me instruction on my math homework on occasion, and simply a down-to-earth lovely kiddo.  Despite the years, Linda has left me with a segment of my life with fantastic memories of her that I can honestly claim to be my "Happy Days."  Condolences to the family and a perpetual Thank You and prayers for Linda.

To the whole family, especially Ms Michele Odems. I am so sorry for your loss 😔.  From reading about your mother's life, and from listening to you Ms. Michele talk about her, for the 10 years I have known you, I could feel her kind heart. I personally thank your mother ( and father) for raising a very kind  and loving daughter, a great person. I remember all those times you had to fly out to visit your mother, during the pandemic times when you could only watch her from a window, etc. I pray that your beautiful mother's soul rests in peace, and that the whole family has patience through this tough time. I will pray for your mother, Ms Michele 🙏 ❤️

I’m not sure if it was her spirit animal or what, but she always had cow memorabilia around.  When I think of cows, I think of silly, fun-loving animals. I think of Sam’s Gram. I remember her as an all welcoming woman who was the best at not taking life too seriously, goofy, always wearing a smile. I’m so sorry for your earthy loss.

When I lived on Granite St.  I remember going over to Grammy's house and going into Linda's room and seeing a poster of Fabian on her wall.  I always felt close to her.  I was so happy when I visited her in the nursing home and she said "I remember him.".  She will be missed.  Our deepest condolences to Claude, Michelle, Kathy, Mary, Lisa, Derek and Nicole and families.  ❤️
