Evelyn F Mayotte Wilson

Evelyn F. Wilson 80, died November 20, 2011 at the Hanover Hill Healthcare Center in Manchester after a lengthy illness. She was born on October 6, 1931 in Claremont NH, the daughter of Armand and Irene (Cook) Mayotte. She was raised in Claremont , attended local schools and was a graduate of Stevens High School.

As a young girl Evelyn was a member of the Junctioneers Skating Club of Claremont and performed with her sister Jane throughout New Hampshire. As a teenager she was a member of the Stevens High School field hockey team and was currently a member of the Eastern Star of Claremont.

Evelyn enjoyed gardening and was blessed with a green thumb. She also enjoyed dancing at the William Cashin Senior Center in Manchester.

She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years John Wilson in 2003, her son Michael Wilson, her daughter Sandra Bechok and her sister Mildred Hayna.

Members of her family include her four grandchildren Jamie Bechok of New London NH, Lindsay Wilson of Wilmington MA, Erin Bechok of Keene NH and Brooke Wilson of Raymond NH, seven great-grandchildren, her sister Jane Vaughan and her husband Milton of Claremont NH and her daughter-in-law Gail Bisplinghoff of No. Hampton, NH.

Visitation was held on Saturday November 26, 2011 from 1 to 3PM in the McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St. Manchester, NH. A private committal service will be held at the convenience of the family.
