Dawn R. Ingram, 37, passed away December 31, 2013 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester after a long illness. She was born on June 22, 1976, in Adana, Turkey, the daughter of the late John T. Dobe and Marie Worrell.
Dawn was a graduate of Dover High School and served in the US Navy, where she met her future husband, Royce A. Ingram. Following their tours of duty, they resided in Houston, Texas for eight years prior to moving to New Hampshire several years ago. Dawn was awarded an Associate’s Degree at Houston Community College. She had been employed as an electronics technician by BAE.
Always one to be active, Dawn pursued a wide variety of activities. She was a student of Tai Kwan Do, and was a licensed massage therapist. She was an avid target shooter and enjoyed gardening, knitting and quilting. She loved animals and had a menagerie of three dogs, two cats, and at times, hamsters.
She is survived by her husband, Royce A. Ingram of Raymond; her mother Marie Worrell of St. Anthony, Idaho; a brother, William Dobe of Londonderry; a sister, Dianna Dobe of Dover, NH; a step brother, Robert Gauvin of Reading, MA; two nieces, Noelle Dobe and Paige Dobe, both of Londonderry as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was pre deceased by her father, John T. Dobe in 2009.
There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, January 7th at 10 AM in St. Peter Church, 567 Manchester Road, Auburn. Burial with military honors followed at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen. In lieu of flowers donations in Dawn’s name may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston MA 02284 or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, FL 90266.
