MANCHESTER – Claude Thomas Morin, (82) passed away on December 25, 2024 in Manchester, NH. Claude was born on February 5, 1942, in Jay, Maine, the son of Frank and Monique Morin (Croteau). After high school, Claude served in the United States Navy from 1961 to 1965.
Claude worked for several places, the last being NAMCO Pools. He was a member of the American Legion Post 43 and Catholic War Veterans – Rev. Louis A. Ramsay Post 1624, where he received the Hall of Fame Award and the Distinguished Service Award. He was actively involved with Boy Scout troop 110 for many years. In his spare time he loved feeding the birds and squirrels.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years; Irene Morin, his sons; Michael and wife Kim of Laramie, Wyoming, Matthew of Manchester, NH, many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother; Gus, Granddaughter; Monica Celeste.
Calling hours will be held at McHugh Funeral Home 283 Manchester, NH on January 9th, 2025 from 4pm to 7pm
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church 103 Walker Street Manchester, NH on January 10th, at 10:30 am.
Interment will be held on Monday January 13th at 11:00am at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Hanover Hill Health Care Center, especially the Second Floor Long Term care nursing staff for their care and compassion taking care of dad.
