Cheryl Olsen Mitchell

Cheryl Ann (Olsen) Mitchell, 59 of Hooksett, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 27, 2016. Cheryl is survived by her family, husband Dwight, daughters Emily and Melanie, son Thom, granddaughter Erynn Hunt of Hooksett, and her sister Sally Evans of Ossining, NY. At the time of her death, Cheryl was a medical assistant at Epsom Family Medicine. Her entire working career was in the medical field.

Cheryl was born in Keene on February 23, 1956, the second daughter of Bob and Phyllis Olsen. The family moved to Ithaca, NY in 1959 and to Arcade NY where she completed her last year of high school. Following in her mother’s footsteps, she attended the New England Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing in Boston. She met her husband Dwight of Old Town Maine at her sister’s wedding in 1975; they married in 1977 and settled in Bangor Maine. There are no calling hours. Burial will be this spring in Old Town, Maine.
