Paul Joseph Goldstein, 86, formerly of the Bronx, New York passed away on May 16th, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Frances, his three children; Donna Silverstein (Stephen), Randi Mahedy (Joseph) and Keith Goldstein, and his four grandchildren Jamie Silverstein (Tim), Rebecca Silverstein, Blake Mahedy and Cole Mahedy.
Paul was a loving huband, father and grandfather. Full of life and love; there was nothing he wouldn’t do for his family. He was funny, smart, charming, stylish, and selfless. More so, he was confident, handsome and in particular generous to family, friends and countless charities. He loved his family most of all, but he also appreciated a good day at the races and timely chocolatey treat. A man of honor, he served his country proudly for 2 years in the US army. He later enjoyed a long and successful career working in sales in New York. More recently, he spent his time relaxing in retirement in Florida with his wonderful wife and amazing dog, Buddy. He was very much loved and will be dearly missed by anyone who knew him. He called himself “the perfect person” and to his family, he was.
A funeral service for Paul will be held on Thursday, May 20 at 11am at Bloomfield cooper Jewish chapels, 44 Wilson Ave, Manalapan, NJ 07726 followed by a committal service at the Mount Sinai Cemetery Mausoleum, Route 79, Morganville, NJ.
Should you like to make a memorial donation in Paul’s name, the family asks that you consider the Wounded Warrior Project (woundedwarriorproject.org) or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (pancan.org).
