She was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1933. She married her high school sweetheart Melvin Resnick in 1952, who she was predeceased by in 1994.
Lois and her family moved to Staten Island, NY, then eventually to East Brunswick, NJ, she then moved to Monroe Township, NJ.
Lois enjoyed gardening and reading, she was also very proud of her Brooklyn roots, referring to herself as a “tough Brooklyn girl.”
Lois is survived by her daughter, Joanne Dembowski, son-in-law John of South Amboy, NJ, granddaughter Mariel Stockman and her husband Hans and great grandson Bruce of Hopewell, NJ.
She was predeceased by her eldest daughter Allison Helene Somoza in 1997.
Funeral services will be held Monday April 1, 2024 at 11am at Bloomfield Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Ave, Manalapan, burial to follow at Floral Park Cemetery, South Brunswick.
Donations may be made in Lois' name to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
