George Wendler

Born in Brooklyn, he resided in Marlboro before settling in Manalapan 8 years ago.

Prior to retiring, he was a Banker for HSBC in New York, where he worked for over 20 years.

He was predeceased by his loving wife Nancy in 2012.

Surviving are his children: Jeffrey Wendler and his wife Lori, Ken Wendler and his wife Andrea, Lisa Jay and her husband David, Michelle Canarick and her husband Jon; and 10 grandchildren: Zachary, Jordan, Jessica, Lexi, Emma, Amanda, Jacob, Kira, Elle, and Mason.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 1PM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan. Interment will immediately follow at Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Marlboro.

Memorial contributions may be made in George’s name to the NYC/Langone Department of Otolaryngology. This contribution was selected to honor George's long-term doctor and hero, Dr. Mark Persky.
