Gabriella Kaldor, 75, of Marlboro, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2012, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Romania, she lived in Israel and in Queens, NY before moving to Marlboro in 1973. She was the former principal of the Hebrew School at Marlboro Jewish Center, serving for 13 years and a volunteer at the Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County. Mrs. Kaldor took over as owner in her family business Kaldor Emergency Lights in Marlboro.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert, in 2008. Surviving are her two daughters and sons-in-law, Ilana & Howard Gases and Shirley and Vernon Estreicher; and her four grandchildren, Aliza & Matthew Gases and Michael & Daniel Estreicher.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Marlboro Jewish Center in Marlboro. Memorial donations may be made to the Robert Kaldor Memorial Fund at Marlboro Jewish Center. Services are under the direction of Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels in Manalapan.
