Ellen is survived by her husband, Orin Cohen; her son Corey Marc (Jillian Horowitz) Cohen; and her son Zachary Robert (Timothy Hughes) Cohen; her brother Norman (Donna) Heller and her sister Susan (Douglas) Fisher; her grandson James River Cohen.
A funeral service for Ellen will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, NJ 07726.
The family will be sitting shiva at Orin's home on Tuesday after the service, and Wednesday and Thursday from 2-9pm each day.
The family has established a fund in Ellen's honor, and anyone who would like to help keep her memory alive can contribute here.
