Ella is survived by her son Howard Topal and his wife Judy; daughter Monica McGovern and her husband Gene; grandson Andrew Topal and his wife Margarita; granddaughter Kaitlin Masopust and her husband Daniel; grandson Douglas Topal; granddaughter Gillian McGovern and her fiancé Patrick McNamara; great-grandson Mason Topal; and great-grandson Logan Topal.
Mrs. Topal was preceded in death by her husband Sidney Topal in September 1996 and her sister Eva Averick.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726. Immediately following the funeral, there will be a committal service at 1:00 PM at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1098 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge, New Jersey 07095.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ella's memory may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, 480 Red Hill Road, Middletown Township, New Jersey 07748.
