Bernard Lipnick passed away on 10/22/2021 at Jersey Shore University Hospital on his 90th birthday.
Born in Brooklyn, he moved to Deer Park, NY in 1957, and Jackson, NJ in 2004.
Prior to retiring, Mr. Lipnick was a Financial Comptroller for Republic Electronics, Melville, NY.
Bernie was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He took great pride taking care of his home and his family was the joy of his life. Bernie loved watching his grandchildren fish at Captree State Park and hosting pizza parties for his great-grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling across America with his wife and children on summer vacations. After retiring, Bernie and his beloved wife Rita went on to explore the world together, traveling Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Canada and Alaska.
Surviving are his loving wife, Rita Lipnick; his beloved children Debra Goldberg and her husband Daniel of Hamilton, Philip Lipnick and his wife Lori of Oregon and Natalie Brent and her husband Lawrence of Dayton; his cherished grandchildren Adam Goldberg, Aaron Goldberg, Scott Lipnick, Matthew Lipnick, Michelle Lipnick, Alyssa Brent and Jeremy Brent and his great-grandchildren Sam Goldberg, Jesse Goldberg, Levi Goldberg, Georgia Goldberg, Nora Lipnick, Sophia Lipnick, Jade Lipnick, Kaileigh White and Benjamin Vinnik.
Graveside services will be held on 10/24/2021 at 1pm at Beth Moses Cemetery, 1232 Wellwood Avenue, West Babylon, NY 11704. Please meet at the cemetery office at 12:45 and we will all proceed to the gravesite together.
