She was an elementary school teacher at P.S. 143 in Corona, NY for 18 years.
Surviving family members include her loving husband Heath Cohn, her two daughters Jordyn and Mia Cohn, her father Howard Futterman, her mother Wendy (née Cohen) LaJoie, her step-father Ray LaJoie, her brother Jonathan Futterman, and her half-brother Steven Futterman.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 4th, 2019 (weather permitting) at 10:30 am at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan, NJ. Interment will follow at Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Marlboro, NJ.
Immediately following the service at the cemetery, a meal of condolence will be held at 618 Restaurant, 618 Park Avenue, Freehold, NJ.
The family will be sitting shiva at the home of Heath Cohn, 3 Malibu Court, Jackson, NJ, 08527 from Tuesday, March 5th through Thursday, March 7th between the hours of 3:00pm and 7:00pm. A minyan service will be held at 7:00pm each night.
