William B. Sanders, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on November 22, at his home in Manahawkin, NJ.
Born in Paterson, NJ on Sept. 1, 1953 to William and Mary (Reardon) Sanders, he lived in the Totowa Section of Paterson for most of his life, until retiring and moving to Manahawkin, NJ a few years ago.
After graduating from John F. Kennedy High School, Bill started his career as a Security Systems Technician working for ADT, Sonitrol and Supreme Security. He liked to garden and always enjoyed cooking up something special for Saturday night get togethers at the family home. Bill was a regular at Paul's Bar and Bowling. It was there that he made lifelong friends, including some fishing buddies that he went deep sea fishing with on the Jamaica ll out of Brielle. Bill had animals his entire life of one species or another and took great care of them all, as well as the outside cats and birds.
Bill was the much-loved brother of his sisters, Patricia Colon and her husband Bill, Janet Williams and her husband Bill. He was the beloved uncle of his nieces Laura Colon and Karen Williams; nephews Bill Colon and Michael Williams and his wife Rebecca; great uncle of Declan. Seven cousins also survive him. Besides his parents, Bill was also predeceased by his brother, Thomas Scott Sanders in 2015.

A graveside service will be held at Laurel Grove Cemetery in the Spring.
