Robert Molarz

Bob was born in Elizabeth NJ on November 22, 1933 to John and Helen Molarz. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson HS and enlisted in the Navy in 1951. He had numerous jobs, working for Welsh Farms, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, Weichert Realtors and Prudential Insurance Company. Bob was an avid sportsman, enjoying fishing and golf and rooting for the NY Giants, Knicks and Rangers but most especially for his beloved St. Louis Cardinals. He loved spending summer days at the beach and was passionate about attending all of his children’s many athletic events. Bob was a dedicated coach with the Carteret Little League and the Carteret Sportsman Pop Warner program as well as a lifetime member of the Carey Council Knights of Columbus in Carteret.

Robert Sr. is predeceased by his parents John and Helen Molarz, his sister Doris Pike, his daughter–in-law Maureen Molarz and his grandson Tyler Molarz.

He is survived by his long-time companion, soul mate and best friend Ellen Andrews, his children Robert Jr. and his wife Kim, Stephen Molarz Sr., and Linda Cerillo and her husband Donald. Bob is also survived by his grandchildren; Stephen Jr., Nicole, Dawn, Thomas, Justin, Alyssa, and Connor and his great grandson Anthony, as well as his many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Robert’s name to St. Mary’s Parish, 747 West Bay Avenue, PO Box 609, Barnegat NJ 08005, attention Peggy.
