Nicholas C. Mormando, 74, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010. Born in Beach Haven, he was a resident of the shore area all of his life prior to retiring in Chesnee, SC. Mr. Mormando was a plumber and retired from the Borough of Beach Haven
Son of the late John Dominick and Jennie Link Mormando and husband of the late Maryann, he is survived by two daughters and a son in law, Joanne and Victor Matech of Waretown and Dorothy Mormando of SC; a son and daughter in law, Anthony R. and Michele Mormando of Boiling Springs SC; a brother and sister in law, Alfred and Jane Mormando of Lumberton, NJ; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Calling hours will be Monday evening from 5 until 9 PM at the Thos L. Shinn funeral home, 10 Hilliard Drive, Manahawkin, NJ and Tuesday Morning from 10:00AM until the time of Services at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
