2021.
Lorraine was predeceased by Gary, her beloved husband of 39 years. She was also predeceased
by her father Edward Bickner and mother Marilyn Bickner, her sisters, Kerrie Kobelski, Leigh
Ann Hook and Alison Anderson.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Lindsay Parker and her fiancée David Little and Hayley
Parker and her fiancée David Porsch. She is also survived by her cherished sisters, Lynne Hagan
(John), and Gayle Miller and her brother, Gene Bickner (Nancy) as well as several nieces and
nephews.
Lorraine was “Mom” to all. She was the Caretaker of the family, staying by their side through it
all. She was family oriented; her family was the center of her world. There were no strangers to
her; everyone was part of her family. She enjoyed reading and taking care of her plants. She
loved to collect antiques. She also was a great cook.
Her family and friends will always remember her sense of humor and her unforgettable laugh.
Even though she couldn’t carry a tune and was always off key, she loved to sing and she sang every day, all day. Lorraine and Gary had the kind of love that most people dream of, they did everything together, and that continued right up until their final days. She and Gary will be greatly missed by all.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 1:00-4:00 with a prayer service at 3:00 at the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin, NJ.
