Diana was predeceased by her beloved husband, Melville, her babies Debra Ann and James, her daughter Diana G Wood, her granddaughter Devinee Wood and her brother David A. DePalma.
She is survived by her devoted son John Wood and his wife Margo, her cherished granddaughters Danelle, Breanna and Bianka Wood, as well as her precious 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Joan Montefreddi and her husband Edmund and Susan DePalma, her niece Marissa Montefreddi and nephew Michael Montefreddi as well as her Aunt Anna DiPersia.
As a young girl Diana enjoyed gymnastics and was a part of a cheerleading team. Over the years she became a food connoisseur and would travel near and far to different restaurants in search of food that she could describe as "out of this world". Additionally, she loved watching The Food Network and The Game Show Network.
Diana, along with her husband Melville owned and operated M. Wood Opticians in Brick for over 20 years.
Those who knew Diana best describe her as a sassy, strong willed, loving woman who enjoyed her time in Atlantic City playing alongside her sister at their favorite slot machines hoping to win it big. She will be missed by all!
