Audrey was an incredibly generous and devout Catholic, dedicated to helping those in need. She served as a eucharistic minister, bringing communion to patients in the hospital and volunteering her time to assist the less fortunate. She worked avidly with Father Walter and the Spanish ministry to provide daily lunches to Venezuelan immigrants. Audrey also enjoyed her missionary trips where she shared her support and her faith with the people in Jamaica. Her compassionate nature extended to her successful career as the President/Chief Executive Officer of the Visiting Nurse Association of Staten Island for over 30 years. Audrey was known for her love of cooking and entertaining, always bringing joy to those around her.
She is survived by her daughters Dawn Penney, Lana Scott, Laura Laurie, her brother Daniel Klimkiewcz and his wife Eileen Klimkiewicz, sister-in-law Patricia Klimkiewicz, her brother-in-law Steven Penney and his wife Donna Penney, her nephew Bob Kelly and his wife Kim Kelly, grandchildren Robert Weiser III, Lacey Cook, Jack Laurie, Danielle Laurie, Michael Penney, Lauren Saviet, Allison Munoz, Amanda Kelly, Lindsay Kelly, and great-grandson Theo Weiser. She is also survived by nieces and nephews John Klimkiewicz, Tom Klimkiewicz, Karen Klimkiewicz, Steven Klimkiewicz, Janice Klimkiewicz, April Ivanic, Diana McMillan, Lauren Weissman, and many great nieces and nephews. Audrey was preceded in death by her loving husband Harold Penney, daughter Danielle Penney, and brother Thomas Klimkiewicz.
A memorial mass will be held at Saint Mary’s Church in Barnegat, NJ on April 24, 2024 at 10:30am. Audrey will be buried at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ following the memorial mass.

Audrey will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched with her kindness and love. May she rest in peace and her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
