Antoinette M. Sussino, 43, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Annie is survived by her beloved parents Robert Sr. and Josephine Sussino, her devoted brothers Robert Sussino Jr. and his wife Kristie, Timothy Sussino and his wife Ashley, her cherished nieces Brianna, Rylee, Cora and Calla and her nephew Kai who will be joining his family in March. She is also survived by her many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends, and her “fur baby” Oreo.
Annie was a dedicated and proud Registered Nurse for 23 years, where she worked in the local hospitals & home health. She even supported her fellow dialysis patients by serving as an advocate to improve their care. She was a giving and caring person, not only in her nursing career but in her personal life as well. When she was unable to work any longer, she would always say how much she missed helping people. She said this as she was making masks to give to other nurses, friends and family. And as an avid crafter, she also loved to give her creations to others to enjoy.
Annie made a difference in the lives she touched. Through her abundance of smiles, positivity, and profound strength, she hoped to have made an impact; showing others that one can live a rich & fulfilling life in spite of the many challenges faced. It was one of her final wishes that her legacy would live on with those paying this attitude and spirit forward.
A visitation will be held Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 1:00pm-4:00pm with a prayer service at 3:30 at Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin, NJ.
