Survived by his wife, Grace(nee Peletier) of Manahawkin, NJ. Stepdaughters, JoAnn Bennett of Wendel , NC(Bryant), Audrey Sommers of Bergenfield,NJ . Three stepsons, Paul Consullo of Wycoff, NJ, John Censullo of Clark, NJ and Robert Censullo of River Vale NJ.(Siobhan) Nine grandchildren, Brothers Dr. Worth Coward of NC and William Lloyd Coward of GA. Predeceased by stepson, Robert Annunziata of NC three sisters and one brother.

Born in NC Major Coward entered the Marine Corp. in 1944 and served his country proudly and honorably for 32 years, in Korea, and three tours in Vietnam, last of which was as Advisor to the South Vietnamese military.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made in his name to Cancer Society or COPD Org. Visitation will be at the Thos L Shinn funeral Home on Tuesday May 31 from 11AM-1PM . Burial will take place at the Brig Gen Wm C Doyle Vet Cemetery
