Alison Marie Anderson

She was predeceased by her husbands, Patrick Piljar and Joseph Anderson; her parents, Edward H. Bickner, Marylyn Bickner DeFinis and stepfather Charles A. DeFinis and her sisters, Leigh Ann Hook and Kerry Kobelski.

Alison is survived by her partner, John T. Lewis of Barnegat; her loving children, Brandie Piljar Sosa and her husband, Alfredo Sosa and grandson, Jameson and her son, Patrick John Piljar. She is also survived by her sisters, Lynne Bickner Hagan and her husband, John, Lorraine Bickner Parker and her husband, Gary, Gayle Bickner Miller and her husband, Daniel, and her brother, Edward Eugene Bickner and his wife, Nancy.

Alison was a loving, caring, mother, partner, friend and sibling. Her greatest joy was caring for and serving those whom she loved. She was a wonderful cook and homemaker.

She will be deeply missed by everyone who was blessed to know her.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Thos. L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin.
