Victoria Ruth Bryant

Ruth was born November 11, 1924 at Ashford, WV to the late Arthur Hampton and Jessie Pearl Davis McDerment. She graduated from Sherman High School in Seth, WV in 1942 and attended Charleston School of Commerce. She was a secretary and book keeper, retiring from Andrews Floor Covering Company in Charleston.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Thomas A. Bryant; siblings, Arthur, Jr., Carlis, Franklin, Vernon and Deloris; special niece, Diana Bogard; step grandsons, John David and Thomas A. Bryant III.

She is survived by her son, Larry Gene Dodson (Nancy) of Belle; grandson, Erik Dodson of St. Albans; stepson, Thomas A. Bryant II (Donna) of Littleton, Colorado; sisters, Vera Pritchett of Ashford and Patricia Douds of Peachtree City, Georgia; four step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.

There will be no funeral services and burial will be in the McDerment Family Cemetery at Ashford.
