She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to anyone that knew her. She worked for CAMC in MICU for many years. After leaving CAMC, she worked a couple of years at Krogers where she made many friends before becoming a stay at home wife. She loved to plant flowers and spend time with family. She never met a stranger and was the most kind loving person you could ask for. She could always see the good in people and would give you her last dime or shirt off her back to help you. She is survived by her husband of 45 years Richard Rankin; Daughters, Stephanie Bowling (Joe) of St Albans, Ina Holstion (Darrell) of Belle; Son, Marshall Rankin (Krystal Dellagatta) of Charleston; Brother,
James (Bubby) Haynes Jr (Leeann) of Georgia; Grandchildren: CJ Pomeroy (Haylee Coleman), Darrell Ray Holstion Ill (Kaleigh), Nathan Pomeroy (Elizabeth Hamacher), Zachary Holstion (Kara Snodgrass), Josephine Bowling, and Jayden Rankin; Great-Grandchildren: Ryleigh Holstion, Jacob Holstion, Joseigh
Schwab, Alauna Pomeroy, Liam Pomeroy, Adalee Pomeroy, Noah Pomeroy, and Delilah Bowling.
A visitation with family and friends will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the Church.
The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Spring Fork Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Long and Billy Sampson officiating. Burial will follow at French Cemetery, Davis Creek, West Virginia.
