Richard Arlen Robinson

Richard was born in Charleston on December 10, 1934 to the late Oscar and Catherine Hudson Robinson. He was retired from WV Department of Highways and a member of Spring Fork Missionary Baptist Church. Richard loved gospel music and sang with several groups including the original Kings Journeymen.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Mark Anthony Robinson II; and several sisters and brothers.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Margaret Spurlock Robinson; sons, Richard (Elaine) Robinson of Charleston, Randy (Angie) Robinson of Nitro and Mark (Julie) Robinson of Jackson County; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday January 13, 2024 at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden with Pastor Mike Long officiating. Burial will follow at Robinson Family Cemetery, Charleston.

A visitation with family and friends will be held from 11:30 AM until service time.
