Wow... I don’t even have the words.  We said goodbye to you tonight. I honestly wish you had a clue of  how you touched so many people. I’m so proud to call myself your niece. I will always  remember our talks, and your words of wisdom. I’ll never forget them or you.  I love you so much Bub. You will know how much of an influence you were In my life. ❤️

Rick was so sweet and kind always made me smile and when I think of Ricky I go back to when we were children and both our mothers worked in the elementary school carnival. I remember when we were in junior high and high school everytime I would see him butterflies would flutter in my tummy. Rick's sister Lynda was at my house we all had grown up gotten married/divorced had children and Lynda was visiting  Rick stopped by I was so excited to see him. Then time passed so fast and from time to time I would run into Rick at the grocery or out and about and still there were butterfiles.  We reconnected awhile back. Rick I am missing you and your midnight text messages, I know you are going to heaven and I am sure when I see you there still I will have butterflies in my tummy. 

I am so sorry for you all, I know the pain will always be there, let the wonderful memories of your son, your Dad and your  brother be what warms your heart and puts a smile on your face.

Ricky wasn’t just my childhood friend he was just like my brother. It’s amazing how many let’s say adventures we got into up Campbell’s creek but good or bad we always had each other’s back.  He was one of the kindest men I’ve ever known. Just looking at pictures of Ricky in my wedding and he always looked the same throughout the years. Ricky you were taken from us way to early but I’m proud to say you were a great friend for 60 plus years. May god bless your family.

Rick and I grew up together. I knew his sister's well Lisa and Linda. Reck was very protective of his sisters brother and mother. One time as a young boy I upset one of his sisters. Rick came looking for me and gave me one really good noggie. He didn't try to hurt me that wasn't his nature.  He just wanted to scare me and he did. But since then for 45 years Rick and I have been good friends.  He was always kind and generous when I would see him. He was very humble about his military service.  Very loving in his stories about his family to me. 

I will miss running into him. I will always remember that Noggie

I will sadly miss you my old friend!  You were my friend, class mate ad co-worker.  You were a good man who lived life to the fullest.  May god bless you and your family  Rest in peace my friend!  .  

Rick was a WONDERFUL SWEET MAN! I met him when I lived in Malden. He always stopped by on his way home from work checking on me and my daughter's McKenzie and Emily Sword. My girls thought the world in him.

I have known Ricky literally all my life. Living up Coal Fork it was myself, Ricky, David Burke, Rick Bostic, Bobby Breeden and Mike Horan. Those were such great days and life was so much more simple then. We stayed in touch over the years and I feel like a major piece of me is gone. May the Lord bless and strength his family and his friends throughout all of this.

Billie June and family, my sincerest condolences.  Friends from the moment we met, all through school and in adult life on Malden circle, in was an honor and a delight to spend time with Ricky.  Never a dull moment nor many without a lot of laughter whenever he was around.  Love you all.  Rest in peace Ricky and Semper Fi marine.

Rick was one of my Dads (Garry Westfall’s) best friends, they worked together for years. I always thought of him as an Uncle still talked to him from time to time after my Dad passed. He was a good man and will be missed by all who knew him. R.I.P. 💔

ONE OF MY MEMORIES OF RICK WOULD BE THE TIME, HE GOT IN TROUBLE AT THE SKATING RINK, AND WAS ASK TO LEAVE...HE DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE BECAUSE WE WERE DATING SO HE WENT HOME AND DRESSED UP IN HIS SISTER LYNDA CLOTHES AND FOUND A WIG TO WEAR AND CAME BACK TO THE SKATING RINK..I  WAS SHOCKED TO SEE HIM DRESSED LIKE A GIRL JUST SO HE COULD BE THERE WITH ME LOL. HE WAS SUCH A FUN LOVING GUY..AND WAS ALWAYS  CARED ABOUT OTHERS...I HAVE MANY GOOD MEMORIES OF RICK...MY HEART GOES OUT TO HIS FAMILY AT THIS TIME AND I PRAY THAT THE PEACE OF GOD WILL GET THEM THROUGH.
