Today we went to see your grave. I felt your presence there dad. It has been 1 years since you passed away. We all miss you and we love you. We know you are in a better place, though we would love to have 8 more years with you. I love you dad.

Today we celebrated the memory of your everlasting fathership. You assisted us through life's huddles sharing your insight on choices that you made through your life. Thank you for the many sit down conversation we have had, your love that was always there. Mom and I came to visit you, feeling your presence was very comforting. I love and miss you dad.

I have been told and I knew already that life without you,  I/we will encounter our first Christmas and New Year's without you. I internally scream at those "first". You always told me/us, life goes on whether we like it or not. The sting is not as sharp as it was. Though my love and memories of you/us continues. I miss you dad, you are a great father; your voice and lessons still echo within my mind. I hope you been able to play a few rounds of golf with Gary and your dad.

Dad, Titi is coming to you today; he will be scared and confused. Be there for him, let him know that he is always loved and remember like yourself. Play him hold him tight.

This is a photo of your last birthday with us. We enjoyed celebrating your birthdays with you, watching your enthusiasms as you opened up your gifts. You said you didn't want a big ordeal over your birthday, though we wanted to show you how important you are in our lives. Today no cake, no candles and no Happy Birthday Songs. I celebrate each memory with enthusiasms hoping you know that you are missed and loved. We wish you were here dad.

I am not a golf person. Though on this very special day, I became a person who appreciated the sport and how my dad enjoyed the day. I was able to see a glimpse of what my dad was like as a teenager. Dad is is a cherished memory that will live forever. Thank you dad

His stories that he told (even if he repeated a few) were always told as if it just happened. His zeal to hold on to the expression never faded. Those stories still remains in my memories.

Each day that I wake up, I think of you dad. The plans that we had, going fishing, building a clothing chest. I know that you are at peace and no more suffering, no more aches. We will miss you each day dad but will not forget you or the memories that we share. I am so proud to be your son. Each day that I wake up...I will know that you are there. I love you dad.

The first time I saw this picture, I thought of Lassie. But this young guy.....no this could not be my dad. As time when on I could see my dad as that young man. This photo allowed me to see my dad as my first hero. You are someone that I still look up to for guidance and inspiration. I love you pop.
