Pauline (Morris) Tucker passed away peacefully at her home with her family on February 5, 2017, after a valiant battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Her husband, Clifford Tucker; her father and mother, James Clinton and Virgie Lena Morris; her brothers, James and William Morris; her sisters, Betty Irene Morris and Helen Lantz; and her granddaughter, Tracey Wagner, preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister, Jenny (Clarence ) Shaffer; sons, Clifford Tucker, Harry Clinton “Jack” (Tammy) Tucker and Timothy (Kim) Tucker; daughters, Nyola DeBolt and Sheila (James Nelson) Allen; grandsons, Clifford Tucker III and Richard Allen; granddaughters, Joy Tucker, Cheryl and Emily DeBolt, Kristen (Wesley) Cook, Megan Tucker, Amber Wolfe, Katie Tucker and Heather Allen; two great-grandchildren, Mia and Antonio. Pauline was a retired RN from CAMC. She will be remembered for her readiness to help friends and neighbors. She loved working with children and taught Sunday school and Bible School for many years. She enjoyed traveling and visited most of the states in the U. S. and as well as many countries. A Victory Celebration Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Putney Memorial Church on Riverlane Drive at Port Amherst. At Pauline’s request, there will be a private graveside service with family only at the Pittman Cemetery, Charleston. Pauline requested no flowers; however donations may be made in her honor to Revival Crusade. The family would like to thank Gail Thigpen and Cheryl DeBolt for their kindness and care of Pauline during her illness.
