She is survived by her son, Turner Holloman of Calhoun, GA and daughter, Carissa Paxton of Charleston. Melissa fought a long battle with her illness. She was born November 20, 1976 to Hazel Johnson Manning and Steve Johnson.
Along with her parents, she is also survived by her step-father, Ron Manning; sister, Kelli Watson; brother, Chris Johnson and a host of family and friends.
In order to honor and respect her wishes there will be a memorial service at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, 4203 Salines Drive, Malden, Saturday, October, 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jonathan Eubank officiating. Family and friends may gather from 1:30 p.m. until time of service.
