Jessica was born in Charleston on November 14, 1980, to the late Larry and Lou Jarrell Kemp. She was a 1999 graduate of Riverside High School; a member of New First Missionary Baptist Church of Kanawha City and City of Refuge-House of Israel, Chesapeake. Jessica was a DayCare Teacher at Children’s Palace in Belle.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Candice Smith.
Jessica is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, William D. Smith; daughter, Angelica Smith; son, William A. Smith, all of Belle.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at the New First Missionary Baptist Church of Kanawha City, 4524 Washington Avenue SE, Charleston, West Virginia 25304.
